Brand:  La Tinaja de Aranzazu 2016. First vintage.

Zone: Castrelo Village: Cambados (without appellation).

Grape: 100 % albariño.

Plot: Plot Paraje Mina; more than 30 years old vines; trained in the traditional Pergola style .

Exposure: Facing to the west.

Soil: granitic, sandy soils.

2016 vintage: Dry, warm winter that causes rapid sprouting; Wet and rainy spring; Very dry summer with high temperatures; Premature maturation due to drought and early harvesting. End harvest September 29th.

Vinification: Clusters selected by hand in the vineyards. Quickly transported to the winery in 15 kg crates. The grapes were not destemmed before going into a pneumatic press for a low pressure pressing. Fermented and raised on the lees in amphora (Padilla Pottery) during 9 months, with its own yeasts and without addiction of any type of product except sulfur.

Bottled: June 20, 2017 (fruit day). Aging in bottle for 9 months.

Production: 311 bottles.
