Marca:  Dandelión 2014; first vintage: 2011.

Appellation: Salnes; Rías Baixas

Grape: 100 % albariño.

Plots: Tomada de Juana, Senra, Gandarela, Freixido, Albarellos y Praeira; 30 to 40 years old vines, trained in the traditional Pergola style .

Exposure: Praeira faces to the south west; rest of the plots face to the sud.

Soil: granitic, sandy soils

2014 vintage: Spring rainy and warm; rainy and cold summer; late maturing due to rain. The harvest ended on October 5.

Vinification: Clusters selected by hand in the vineyards. Quickly transported to the winery in  15 kg crates. The grapes were not destemmed before going into a pneumatic press for a low pressure pressing. Static settling for 36 hours. Fermented with its own yeasts, without the use of any additional product apart from sulphur. Cold tartaric stabilization. Bottled without clarification.

Bottled: April 2015.

Production: 2.215 bottles.
