Brand:  Nanclares 2017; first vintage: 1997.

Appellation: Salnes; Rías Baixas

Grape: 100 % albariño.

Plots:  In Cambados village: Plots Soverribas, Praeira (Facho), Tomada de Juana , Albarellos, Gandarela, Freixido Senra; In Ribadumia village: Plots Inxertal and Granxa; Vines between 30 to 40 years old ; traditional Pergola style.

Exposure: Noth east plot Soverribas; South west rest of the plots.

Soil: granitic, sandy soils.

2017 vintage: Warm winter. Early sprout 17-19 March. Hot spring and summer with high temperatures but constant that caused an optimal maturation without caused hydric stress. Beginning of harvest on August 30,2017.

Vinification: Clusters selected by hand in the vineyards. Quickly transported to the winery in  15 kg crates. The grapes were not destemmed before going into a pneumatic press for a low pressure pressing. Fermented and raised in 3 steel vats, in 2 barrels of used French oak (2006) of 500 liters (Demptos) and 1 barrels of used French oak (2014) of 450 liters (Dammy) without clearing and breeding for 9 months. Bottling without tartaric stabilization by cold, without clarification, filtered and  with modest levels of SO2.

Bottled: May, 23 and June, 6  2018 (fruit day and waning moon).

Production: 9.930 bottles + 110 magnums.
