Appellation: Salnes; D.O. Rías Baixas.

Grape: white; 100 % albariño. 

Vineyards: 3 plots of 3 vinegrowers; in Sanxenxo village: plot Ferreira in Adina zone and plot Salgueira in Vilalonga zone; in Meaño village: :  plot Choqueira in Meaño zone; vines 25 to 95 years old ; traditional Pergola style.

Soil: sandy with abundant presence of granodiorite rock and shallow soil plot Ferreira; clay soils plot Salgueira; decomposed granitic, sandy soils plot Choqueira.

Exposure: northwest plot Ferreira;west plot Salgueira ; southwest plot Choqueira.

2019 vintage: Brudbreak: early, unequal; on february 17, 2019.Flowering:  very early; unequal ,between may 6-25, 2019; warm and dry winter, December the sap does not rest (I cry); spring little rainy and unstable with hot and cold days, may attack mildew on our plots, causing heavy losses due to mildew larvae; cool summer, august started rainy and ended hot; conducive to maturation.Harvest: started september 2 and closed september 28, 2019.

Vinification: Clusters selected by hand in the vineyards. Quickly transported to the winery in  15 kg crates. 100% of the grapes foot-trodden in open plastic vessels with 100% whole-clusters included. Pneumatic press for a low pressure pressing.  Fermented with its own yeasts ,without static settling,  at a controlled temperature and without the use of any additional product apart from SO2. in 1 bocoi old chestnut +-90 years of 1.900L. and 1 barrel of used French oak 2008 (Boutes cooperage) of 500L. Batonage weekly for 1 month and aging on its lees for 7 months until bottling. Bottling without tartaric stabilization by cold, without clarification, filtered and SO2 in moderate doses.

Bottled: june 8, 2020 (fruit day / waning moon).

Production: 2.560 bottles + 30 Mágnums.
