Grapes: Brancellao and Caiño Longo from plot Quinta Alto do Coto; Sousón, Carabuñeira, Ferrón and Merenzao from plot Quinta Costa do Beliño.

Plots:  Plots Quinta Alto do Coto and Quinta Costa do Beliño in the zone of Ribeiro in Ribadavia village; 15 years old in Espalier; Certified organic farming.

Exposure: Quinta Alto do Coto faces to the south west; Quinta Costa do Beliño faces to the west.

Soil: granitic origin with a significant content of stones and gravel 

2016 vintage: Rainy and warm spring; hot, dry summer; Late maturation due to water stress. Harvest was held on 4 October.

Vinification: Clusters selected by hand in the vineyards. Quickly transported to the winery in 15 kg crates. Foot-trodden; 66% Whole Cluster; Fermented in old 1.300 liters chestnut foudre with long maceration; Raised in used 225 liter French oak.

Bottled: August 4, 2017 (fruit day). Aging in bottle for 7 months.

Production: 297 bottles.
